Who is eligible
Pathways is for bachelor's degree graduates. Apprentices must establish District residency within 180 days of hire.

- A resume and personal statement
- Unofficial transcripts
- Any additional documents the agency requests

How Pathways works
Pathways to Public Service launched in 2024. Its inaugural cohort placed 25 graduating seniors with District agencies and DC Water.
Fellows serve a year-long apprenticeship. On completion, they move into full-time District employment at Grade 11, Step 1.
